My next big adventure awaits later in 2016. In November, I am traveling back to Europe. I’m excited, considering that I have been stationary for quite some time. I have not done much traveling this year. No road trips, no adventures, no traveling nationally or internationally. I know, sounds pretty boring, right? I decided to state put for a while, considering that the last few years have been exhilarating, cutting out all of the negative experiences. There are still many experiences that I have yet to have, such as riding a hot air balloon, hang gliding or going in a glider.
But, that being said, my mother and I found a deal on a trip that we simply could not resist. A $1399 for room, board and travel through Gate 1 Travel on an 8 day trip to the Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria. Of course, I am overjoyed about this. Check out the journey that I will be on: https://www.gate1travel.com/europe/central-europe-travel/2016/01-CEU-ESC/central-europe-tours-8daffceu17.aspx
I’ll be honest, I do not know a whole lot about either of these three locations. I will, however, enjoy the days where my mother and I get to do things at leisure.
In Budapest, the royal palace and the baths are deffinetly on my list: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/hungary/budapest/things-to-do/top-things-to-do-in-budapest Still, I have never had their food: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/hungary/budapest/things-to-do/best-places-to-eat-in-budapest
Some things that I would like to do during my time in Vienna include visiting the Sigmund Freud Museum.
And this chocolate….http://www.xocolat.at/de/en/
One of the things I’d love to do in Prague includes: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/czech-republic/prague/sights/historic/john-lennon-wall
That’s the thing I love most about traveling, exploring and learning about a new culture and way of life. I love meeting new people and trying new foods and trying to find different ways to say things.
