Call me insensitive or whatever, but all I keep hearing about is this Google Executive that died on Mt. Everest as a result of the avalanche that struck Nepal. So he died. He is dead. You mourn and move on. But what I can’t wrap my head around, is why is his life so much more important than all the other thousand people that lost their lives that day? What makes him special and above all the others? Somehow he is more newsworthy? And let’s look on the bright side of things. At least he was killed doing something that he loves.
