Bar VS Bar

bar-in-the-piazzaI have learned a few things since being in Italy. I have kept my eyes open and been rather observant. “Bar” in Italy means something completely different than it does in America. In America, a “bar” is a place where you go with your friends, to socialize, to have fun, to drink a little bit.

In Italy, a “bar” is more of a place where you go to have an espresso or cappuccino or latte and some pastries.
