There is so much that I am hoping to get out of this trip to Italy. Like I said in many of my previous posts, I am looking to rediscover myself and find my voice, find what makes me happy again, what ignites my soul, what sets me on fire. I am looking forward to finding those simple pleasures in life again. Small things, like smelling the roses, taking long walks on the beach, taking many pictures and enjoying the moment, living in the moment.
I think that is what I am looking forward to most about returning to Italy. I can spend the time studying Italian, learning the language, truly immersing myself. I am looking forward to reading. I love to read, and I have not had much of a chance to read as a result of being so busy and preoccupied with my previous job. I am looking forward to finishing all my unfinished novels and to taking lots and lots of pictures. I am looking forward to sipping wine, and trying cheeses, to going to the Macerata market place. I am looking forward to the fresh made pasta and the homemade pizzas.
